Motor vehicle collisions are sometimes unavoidable. However, many car accidents are the result of negligent drivers. Either way, crashes that lead to fatalities are tragic. One Missouri man was killed and another was seriously injured in a recent interstate collision that happened late in the evening on April 15.
The wreck occurred as the two victims were outside of their vehicle. Their car had stalled on Interstate 44, and they were attempting to push it to the shoulder. Sadly, first man who was hit was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The second man involved was taken to the hospital and was listed in serious condition. Authorities report that the driver of the car that hit the two victims suffered moderate injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
